I wanted to take a moment to thank you from all of my heart for the wonderful service and for getting our order out so quickly.
My mom and I were both born and raised on Oʻahu. My mom moved to the Big Island 36 years ago, and Hawaiʻi has and will always been home to us. However, we have spent the last two months in Seattle while my 80-year-old mother receives treatment for pancreatic cancer.
During this difficult journey, we have been blessed by the kindness and aloha shown to us by a family from our spiritual ʻohana who welcomed us into their home and cared for us as if we are family.
What makes their love even more remarkable is that they are facing health challenges of their own, including heart surgery. Yet despite their own circumstances, they have lovingly provided accommodations, transportation to and from the hospital for treatments, meals, encouragement, and genuine aloha every step of the way.
Our hosts have never had the opportunity to visit Hawaiʻi, and because of their own health challenges, making such a trip would be difficult. We wanted to bring a little piece of Hawaiʻi to them and share the warmth, comfort, and aloha that we grew up with. That's why I ordered your delicious Punaluʻu breads and rolls, food can soothes the soul.
The guava, taro, and original varieties were an absolute hit! I prepared the loaves and made fresh French toast, and everyone loved it. In fact, the taro dinner rolls became such a favorite that family members would wander into the kitchen at all hours of the night to grab one. It brought smiles, comfort, and a taste of Hawaiʻi to people who have shown us such incredible aloha during one of the most challenging times in our lives.
For my mom especially, being far from home while undergoing treatment has not been easy. Sharing your breads around the table brought back fond memories of Hawaiʻi and created moments of joy, laughter, and connection that we will always cherish.

I purchased the sampler box on a recommendation from a Hawaiian friend. It was a gift for someone who loves the commercial brand of Hawaiian sweet bread available everywhere. This bakery exceeded expectations in taste, and the delivery was quick.
Love the cinnamon apple. Haven't tried the cinnamon raisin macadamia nut yet. Didn't care for the guava mango taro bread.
Was mailed inside a usps envelope so no it arrived perfect! Shipping was fast. Customer service amazing.
