I purchased the sampler box on a recommendation from a Hawaiian friend. It was a gift for someone who loves the commercial brand of Hawaiian sweet bread available everywhere. This bakery exceeded expectations in taste, and the delivery was quick.
Love the cinnamon apple. Haven't tried the cinnamon raisin macadamia nut yet. Didn't care for the guava mango taro bread.
Was mailed inside a usps envelope so no it arrived perfect! Shipping was fast. Customer service amazing.
We love the black sand box bc we love guava and taro bread from Punalu’u. The regular sweet bread is so soft and yummy and is a bonus in this box. We made French toast with it for Christmas and it is delicious! Best sweet bread flavors ever!

Each time we've been to the big Island, we've gone by the bakery. The sweetbread is so good, we decided to sent it as gifts to friends on the east coast. It comes fresh and delicious in less than a week. Makes the most amazing French Toast.
The order was fast and correct. I don’t think I can live without the Taro Sweet Bread.
Everything from this bake shop is excellent but we do love the taro rolls. I ordered them for a special treat for Thanksgiving dinner.
